Aces Football shut down Chris Crockett and Columbus Academy while putting on a rushing clinic of their own to secure a 36-9 Regional Semifinal victory. The Aces will face West Jefferson in a DV Regional Final clash on November 17th.

Scoring: Ball: 4 yard Touchdown run, 2 yard Touchdown run. 15 yard Touchdown reception. Smith: 15 yard Touchdown pass, 10 carries for 110 yards rushing. Leasure: 1 yard Touchdown run. Wampler: Fumble recovery and 51 yard return for Touchdown. Stroup: 4 extra points.

The ACES will be playing at Olentangy HS next Saturday at 7 PM. Tickets will be on sale at school beginning on Tuesday Nov. 19th at 8am. The ACES take on 13-0 Marion Pleasant HS for what should be a tremendous matchup of two AWESOME defenses. Here are some interesting points about our Defense...

The ACES have scored 250 points in 13 games which is an average of 19 ppg. Our opponents have only scored 71 points this season (under 6 ppg), only 20 in our last 7 games!

In 7 MSL league games we only gave up 51 points which is about 7 per game and we didn't even win the MSL Title! That tells you how good the MSL has become.

We have had 6 shutouts this season and have had 5 in our last 7 games. The ACES Defense has only yielded 7 points in the playoffs so far and have held our opponents scoreless in our last 10 quarters.

In the win over Chesapeake, the ACES held an offense that averages over 300 yards per game to under 140. In the second half they were only able to muster about 35 yards of offense!
