Amanda Clearcreek 5 Hamilton Township 1
The Aces went up to Hamilton Township and came away with a 5 – 1 league victory. The Aces totaled 28 shots in the contest but were only able to find the net on 5 of them. Shelby Smith, Bailey Harrow and Emily Meyer all scored in the first half and Emily Meyer added 2 more in the second half. The Aces controlled most of the action and played very strong defensively. Megan Meyer and Andrea Hollett both had 3 saves in goal. The Aces improve to 5-2-1 overall and 3 – 1 in the league.

September 11, 2007
Amanda Clearcreek 5 Maysville 0
The Aces had five different girls score in the shutout victory over Maysville. Shelby Smith and Aimee Hall both scored in the first 5 minutes of the game and Allison Hines added a first half score to give the A-C a 3 – 0 halftime lead. Bailey Harrow and Emily Meyer both added 2nd half goals and the Aces got their second shutout of the season. Megan Meyer had 3 saves in goal and Andrea Hollett had 4. The Aces improve to 4-2-1 overall.

September 8, 2007
Amanda Clearcreek 4 Bloom Carroll 2
The Aces played Bloom Carroll in a great venue at Crew Stadium in a game the Aces players have been excited about since it was scheduled in February. Each team brought about 250 fans to cheer them on and the Aces appeared a little nervous to start the game as Bloom Carroll controlled the first 20 minutes of play. Fortunately for the Aces, Megan Meyer played a great game in goal and was able to keep B-C from scoring in the first half. The Aces played much better in the second 20 minutes but the score remained 0 – 0 at the half.

B-C came out strong in the second half and scored off of a nice cross and header in the 2nd minute of the 2nd half to take a 1 – 0 lead. The score seemed to spark the Aces and 3 minutes later Shelby Smith equaled the score with a shot into the left side of the net on a nice pass from Allison Hines. Just 2 minutes later Allison Hines took the ball up the middle of the field and scored on a strong shot into the bottom right corner to give the Aces a 2 -1 lead. Just 4 minutes later the Aces added to their lead when Shelby Smith sent a crossing pass to Allison Hines who put the ball in the top right corner of the net. B-C scored again with 15 minutes left in the game to close to 3 – 2, but the Aces answered 3 minutes later when Allison Hines played a ball off to Aimee Hall who scored to give the Aces a 4 – 2 lead and finish out the scoring. Brittney Stevens, Gretchen Meyer and Abby Meyer played very strong on defense to turn away a couple of B-C chances and Emily Meyer and Bailey Harrow played strong in the midfield for the Aces.

The win takes the Aces to 3-2-1 overall and 2-1 in the league.

September 6, 2007
Amanda Clearcreek 0 Circleville 3
A strong Circleville Team shutout the Aces on a night the Aces struggled to generate many quality scoring opportunities. Circleville scored their first goal with 15 minutes left in the first half and then scored twice within 1 minutes just before halftime to lead 3 – 0 at the half. Neither team was able to score in the second half as both teams stepped up defensively. Megan Meyer had 10 saves in goal for the Aces.

September 4, 2007
Amanda Clearcreek 0 Grandview Heights 1
The Aces played well but was unable to score against a very good Grandview Heights team. Grandview scored 3 minutes into the game and though both teams had a couple of scoring opportunities, both goalies were able to keep the ball out of the goal. Megan Meyer had 12 saves in goal for the Aces.

August 30, 2007
Amanda Clearcreek 3 Fairfield Union 2
The Aces opened league play with a very physical 3 – 2 victory. The Aces were down 1 – 0 before Aimee Hall took a pass from Shelby Smith and was able to score with 5 minutes left in the first half. About 4 minutes later Shelby Smith took a cross from the right side from Allison Hines and buried her shot in the goal for a 2 – 1 halftime lead. Fairfield Union scored the equalizer 10 minutes into the second half, and with 12 minutes remaining in the game Shelby Smith sent a crossing pass to Aimee Hall in the middle of the field for the game winner. Emily Meyer and Heather McGuire played outstanding in the mid-field for the Aces and made several key plays to prevent scoring opportunities for Fairfield Union. Megan Meyer had 6 saves in goal.

August 25, 2007
Amanda Clearcreek 6 Lakewood 0
The Aces generated many scoring opportunities in the first half and were able to finish 4 of those opportunities, taking a 4 – 0 halftime lead. Defensively the Aces were also strong limiting the Lakewood to 2 shots on goal in the first half. In the first 10 minutes of the second half the Aces added 2 more goals to finish out the scoring. All 25 Aces players contributed in the win. Allison Hines, Aimee Hall, and Shelby Smith all notched 2 goals apiece for the Aces and Allison, Aimee, and Maxine Kirchgessner all contributed an assist. Megan Meyer made 2 first half saves and Andrea Hollett added 4 second half saves.

August 21, 2007
Amanda Clearcreek 5 Fisher Catholic 5
The Aces opened their season with a tough game against Fisher Catholic and came away with a 5 all tie. The Aces scored first but then fell behind by a score of 4-1 midway through the first half. The first half ended with Fisher in front 5–3. The Aces defense played much better in the second half and shut-out a strong Fisher offense in the second half while scoring two goals of their own. The Aces final score to tie the game came off of a direct kick from Gretchen Meyer that was headed into the goal by Aimee Hall with about 10 minutes left in the game. Scoring for the Aces was Shelby Smith with 2 goals, Aimee Hall with 2 goals, and Allison Hines with 1 goal. Megan Meyer had 5 saves in goal.
